Instructions for use

The Multidimensional Atlas of the Spain-Portugal Border can be consulted in two different ways.

It’s important to note that we work with two types of locations, point-based (symbolized with markers) and area-based (municipalities, regions, etc.), outlined with polygonal shapes.

Each type of information (place names, photographs, oral corpus, etc.) is color-coded. By clicking on the question mark icon in the viewer, the legend with the colour code for each type of information will appear.

Currently, the atlas includes the following data types:

Multidisciplinary bibliography of the Spain-Portugal border. From this atlas, you can access the records of the bibliography related to each border municipality. By clicking on the icon, you will reach the list generated by our database (https://www.atlasfrontespo.org/en/bibliografia), where you can search and export the records
