Name of a village on the Duero where there is a famous waterfall, the Salto de Saucelle. Llorente Maldonado de Guevara (119-120) pointed out that it is probable that this name comes from a genitive *sabucelli (“of the little elder tree”), from sabucellus, but it cannot be ruled out that it is an anthroponym, as it seems to be in the case of the nearby, but already Zamoran, Fermoselle.
