In Coto Mixto, the exotoponyms Turei and Turén are used to refer to the Portuguese population. The DOELP (s. v. Tourém) notes that it probably comes from Teoderendi (villa), genitive from Teodoro, through a Toerei, then Tourei? -thus documented in 1258.
